I am a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and Midwife with a Natural Childbirth Certificate in Portland, OR.

My Background

I grew up in Minnesota and attended St. Olaf College with a pre-medical focus graduating with degrees in Biology and Art History. Upon graduating, I worked as an assistant teacher in a Montessori primary classroom. As my passion for impacting the lives of children and families grew at the school, my hunger to aid families in all aspects of their lives through medicine directed me to investigate the alternative and holistic world of medicine I had not been yet exposed to.

In pursuit of a degree in naturopathic medicine, I moved to Portland, and attended the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM). At NUNM I earned my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Certificate in Natural Childbirth.

I have completed my midwifery training & requirements with Dr. Sara Ohgushi, ND, and the Naturopathic Midwives at Magnolia Family Clinic. In the summer of 2020, I gave birth to my daughter, Isla, at home in a birth-tub. I currently live in Portland with my husband, Charlie, Isla and our french bulldog, Louis.
